Share your story.  End the silence.  Start the healing.

I am forever indebted to the courageous survivors who have elected to share their stories though the ‘Left Behind’ project.  Because of their willingness to open their hearts, tens of thousands have been informed about the need for greater attention to mental health and suicide prevention.

I’ve been honored to receive so many emails: people never been touched by suicide, but who now have a deeper understanding of its complex nature; survivors who tell me the work has made them feel less alone & more at ease with all that they are experiencing;  and, perhaps the most beautiful emails I have ever received, people who had previously considered or attempted to end their life, who were moved to write and share that after seeing this work, they know they could never do it to those they love.   This is why I pursue this project. This is why the survivors who share their stories can feel proud, knowing that their experience is helping others, and saving lives.   – Kerry Payne.

Raise awareness. Erase stigma. Save lives.

Donations fuel the success of getting this important message out to policy makers, the public and fellow survivors.  Please consider a donation and join me in the global fight for suicide prevention. With your support we can:
  • Produce large scale public space exhibitions to educate, inform & increase suicide prevention efforts.  Exhibitions will be supported by awareness campaigns, publicity, public speaking engagements and more.
  • Interview survivors worldwide to show depression & mental illness does not discriminate between rich or poor, race or religion, class or age.
  • Facilitate healing conversations with policy makers and the public, helping to end the silence surrounding depression, mental health and suicide.
  • Highlight suicide survivors paths to recovery.  Inform survivors and those in crisis that they are not alone and support is available.

Whether it’s $5 or $5,000, your contribution will make a difference in getting this message to the streets, where it belongs.
